What’s in our name, Therapy & Coaching Collaborative?

As a group practice, we share a common goal for our clients to leave each session with a sense of relief from distressing symptoms, and an increased self-awareness and confidence in their own abilities to manage life’s various stressors. We use a combination of therapeutic models to help you explore your past, better understand your thoughts, feelings and behaviors, and develop skills to reach your goals and improve your quality of life.

Collaborative therapy refers to a form of therapy in which the therapist and client work together to make decisions about how best to proceed with treatment. We believe that a strong and genuine therapeutic relationship is the key to successful treatment. By getting to know you and understanding your perspective, we collaborate and tailor treatment to meet your individual concerns and challenges, harnessing your strengths to achieve your unique goals.

While we work with clients solely for therapy or executive function coaching, there is a natural overlap between the two. We use an integrative approach which draws upon our clients’ strengths, identifies past or current problematic behavior, resolves barriers and challenges that stand in the way and develops tools to reach their goals. Therapy often tends to look at the “why”; coaching tends to look at the ”how”. We do both.
